The first year of journal comics. written and drawn beginning in the Spring of 2009.
This was the year I graduated with a degree in English, my wife got pregnant, and my daughter was born.
It also represents the first completed comics I ever made in earnest, and on a (self-imposed) deadline.
When I tell people “I’ve been making comics for X years,” I think of these comics as year one.
